Prevention of Hearing Loss and Tympanic Membrane Perforation Associated with Chronic Suppurative Otitis Media Using Homeopathic Drugs

Chronic suppurative otitis media (CSOM) is one of the most common childhood infectious diseases worldwide and is characterized by a persistent discharge from the middle ear through a perforated tympanic membrane (TM). In developing countries, individuals suffering from this infectious disease may commonly experience hearing impairment. Few studies have demonstrated isolation of both aerobic and anaerobic microorganisms collected from the ear swab of CSOM patients. Although antibiotics are generally prescribed for initial therapy against infection in CSOM; however, the conventional antibiotic therapy faces a number of problems, including antibiotic resistance. Therefore, the objective of the present study is to examine the effects of homeopathic drugs………………….Please read the rest here: https://www.researchgate.net/publication/311562422_Prevention_of_Hearing_Loss_and_Tympanic_Membrane_Perforation_Associated_with_Chronic_Suppurative_Otitis_Media_Using_Homeopathic_Drugs
